Optical endstop providing a contactless and reliable alternative to the mechanical one.
Although it is primarily intended to be used with 3D printers and CNC machines, it can be used for other projects such as rotary encoding, position sensing etc.
We used this switch to build bed levelling probe like BLTouch.

The module comes complete with a cable measuring approximately 50cm.
